Musea Brugge is the umbrella organisation of 14 municipal museums. Visual and applied art from the 15th to the 21st century, housed in classified monuments in the historic centre of Bruges.

At every location, Musea Brugge presents a part of its versatile collections, which is closely related to the historical function of the building. A rich and diverse range of paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, furniture, lace, silverware and tapestries and much more.

The Groeningemuseum is the place for the visual arts from the 15th century to the present day. The Gruuthusemuseum, a 15th century city palace, tells the great history of Bruges through paintings and sculptures, tapestries, precious metals and much more. In the Sint-Janshospitaal and the Museum Onze-Lieve-Vrouw ter Potterie you will discover a direct link between the works of art and the care function of these places. The Volkskundemuseum, housed in a series of workman’s houses, shows crafts and utensils for everyday use.
